I may have just launched the site, but I'm not resting on my laurels! I've added a couple new images to the Front Range gallery. Here they are:
Window Over Colorado SpringsI took this photo from a trail in Palmer Park, located in central Colorado Springs. The overhanging tree branches made a great natural window in which to frame the scene. Great views over Colorado Springs and out to Pikes Peak from up there.
This first photo I took while on a hike in Palmer Park (Colorado Springs) a couple of years ago. The way the trees were hanging over the trail at this particular spot made for a nice natural window looking out over the city and out to Pikes Peak. I chose to keep the close-up pine needles in focus, though sillhouetted, to give the peak that kind of hazy, far-away look.
This second photo I also snapped a couple of years ago, this one basically right from my house! The composition isn't super dramatic in this one, but it's the dramatic colors that make the scene; so beautiful. Again, I purposely silhouetted the foreground to make the image all about the sky in the background.
Both images are for sale, but the second one only as a small or medium print, as I actually shot that one with a little point-n-shoot camera, so print quality may be a concern if attempting to print too large. If you're interested in purchasing either print, just shoot me an email or call me (info on contact page).
